SUPER nice staff and management, energy is great on Adult nights, lots of friendly and welcoming skaters,very exciting. Be careful and aware of a few “adults” that come with a combative and troubled personalities standing square in the middlle looking for attention and won’t comply instruction from staff to roll on, otherwise the rolling experience would be more enjoyable & safer. Overall the Love from the other great and fantastic people makes the event lots of fun and enjoyable, great place to skate in a friendly and drama free atmosphere. Highly recommended

If your 40-something year-old friend invites you and you’re not sure if you should go, well, read this. They have these great things that help you skate. I’m not sure what you call them, but my friend and I call them “walls.” They are made of plastic and they have wheels. You hold onto it as you skate. They are a “wall” that you bring with you. And they have plenty- maybe 50, so you don’t need to worry that they will run out by the time you get there. I went skating outside in Brooklyn 3 years away and fell about 11 times. Yesterday at United Skates, using the “wall”, I didn’t fall at all and I LOVED it! I will be back! And the music is great! Very contemporary, clubby music! A good workout, too! Go and see for yourself!!!!

Fun for my kid kids who roller blade well, but pretty pricey for a family of five. At least it’s emptier when you pay full admission … because on $5 Mondays it’s too packed with too many people who don’t know how to roller skate and there are kids (and a adults) sprawling everywhere. My kids and I all got bumped into by inexperienced skaters, but all in all it was still good fun. Technically they serve food inside … but after your two hour session is up, they kick you out. No time to eat and they close the bathrooms immediately to be cleaned for the next session.

I would rate this place zero stars if possible. First of all, Valvoline wouldn’t pass me for inspection because my parking brake wasn’t working. Fair enough. They told me to go to Firestone. I went to Firestone to get this fixed and while I was already there, they said they’d do my inspection. Cut to several months later: my car was making noises in the back while I was driving (not braking) and my wheels were sort of locking on turns. I took it to a family friend mechanic and my parking brake was in pieces. So not only did Firestone not even fix the issue, but they charged me several hundred dollars for basically an illegal inspection. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. DO NOT GET ANYTHING DONE TO YOUR CAR WITH THEM.

I came in with a flat tire on my old 2004 MDX Acura that I’m just trying to get through the winter and the staff was very efficient, helpful, and quick. They assessed by tire I was pretty sure it couldn’t be plugged but they checked for me anyway. They also notified me about other issues that would need repair, if I were not junking the car after winter. The offered me a very reasonable replacement and I was back on the road in the time it took us to get the soup from Panera that we had originally set out to get. Expensive for soup, but not for car repair. Kudos

Horrible and awful experience at this location. I scheduled an online appointment for a state inspection at 11:00 today on Friday 6/26. I approach associate “Keith” if that’s his real name and he didn’t know anything. He said give me the key without any estimated time and when I said “Will it be about an hour” he rudely replied “I don’t know, maybe more than that, there’s a lot of people ahead of you”. I took my key and left. Why have online scheduling option? Any shop that I’ve been to would at least give an estimated time. Horrible experience, a person like Keith who has never been trained on customer service shouldn’t be at the front desk.

Around Sunday 5:00 we quite enjoyed the music and peacefulness here, our waitress was nice and attentive, the air conditioner wasn’t cranked and blowing on me like some places- it was quite comfortable except the stuffy smell, which is fine because I’d rather deal with that than a restaurant full of people. The tables and booth are not accommodating to huskier people so we sat in the table and chair area, which on a sunny day is fairly bright but there are separate shades you can pull down. Everything tasted lovely except the blue raspberry lemonade, it was like chemicals and I exchanged it for a soda. We liked it here.

It was very, very quiet there. They have a new theme, the big top, a circus theme. It missed the mark for me. The menu is smaller, I remember the original TGIF menu – that was fantastic, this one missed the mark too. My husband and I just got burgers. They were ok. The server, also the bartender, was very attentive. I wont be rushing back, sadly. I used to enjoy the whole experience but we’ll give some leeway that they are still on pause with the pandemic…

Skip the fast food and come here. While you don’t have the same number of options, what they have is 1000 times better and less expensive. Plus grilled cheese for the kids. Line is usually long (because of how good it is) but moves very quick.

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and NOTHING compares to the mold problems going on here. I booked two rooms that had this serious issue but even walking past other rooms you can smell it as soon as they open the door. It seems every one of their outside corridor rooms has some major moisture issue. It’s so bad the bed is moist and does not dry, you can see a lot of black mold on the walls and the smell is horrific. None of this is an exaggeration AT ALL I’ve just gotten off the phone with the Nassau County health department. There is no way maids and maintenance people can’t tell the second they walk into any of the rooms. The hotel is well aware they have a serious health issue and are ignoring it. It gave my mother an asthma attack, I had to go to an event covered in hives. This place desperately needs an official to come shut it down. I’ve contacted the clerk for Massapequa Park, I’ve contacted the code enforcers at the town of Oyster Bay. Our entire first story was underwater during Sandy and the mold/mildew and fungus issues was not even in this ballpark of bad. I booked direct through them so I can’t leave this review on hotels.com but please don’t stay here and if you did please contact the Nassau County Health Department to help explain to urgency of how bad these rooms are before someone gets seriously ill.

We literally checked in and out immediately. Our room was outside and there is no elevator to the 2nd floor. The room itself was NOT clean. Hair on the bed and toilet. Floor cracked. Walls disgusting. Do not stay here.

Overall good. The whole area is clean including the rooms and you can feel the smell of freshness everywhere. A lot of food places (would even get confused as to where to go and eat) and stores nearby. I wish if they have more than one receptionist to take care of customers. For breakfast you have pancakes with needed syrups, fruits (apple/oranges), milk, coffee, nutella, egg wraps, cereals etc.

It is an old theater could use new carpet decor Etc but then the prices would not be the same. They keep it clean, the bathrooms are clean food at a reasonable price. Matinee tickets five or six dollars before 6 p.m. . After 6 p.m. $8. Check on their website. Saw the new Star Trek movie there. Everything is great let’s go there

The theater was clean and appears regularly maintained. The matinee price is welcoming, and the seats are astonishingly comfortable. I was at this theater last week for the first time, the staff made an friendly impression. When the trailers of possible, upcoming blockbusters started, the sound was too loud which the theater adjusted soon later. It may have been an infrequent error, I was covering my ears. Otherwise, there is no fuss. Except, after the show, an odd and aspirating film critic (likely a regular, Seaford local attendee) was claiming all the current movies in the theater are lousy. Okay, you can’t please everyone, especially at the movies.

I bought my wedding gown from Bridal Reflection. The dress is absolutely beautiful. My consultant was Danielle and she was very helpful.
I also got my jewelry for my wedding gown from them too.
The entire process for alterations was smooth and stress free for me because they were able to accommodate me because of work.

Back in July 2020 I purchased my dress, I had a great experience with Danielle, then June 2021 I had my first fitting, the seamstress said all I needed was the top altered everything else was fine, came back in September, it was too big and the dress was too long so they were going to take it in more and I came back a week later and it still wasn’t fixed properly so they got a different seamstress to do the job and I came back in a week before my wedding there was a hole in the dress and the buttons were lose so she put a piece of fabric on top of it to cover it and I just came in today to pick up my dress and the buttons were lose and they didn’t put hooks in like they were supposed to. They don’t do what they say they’re going to do and my experience with them was just horrible, and every time I went in there another bride was complaining that their alterations weren’t correct.

This particular location would have gotten 5 Stars from Me if they had the newer ATM like other TD Banks where are you have the option to withdraw not just 20s, but singles, 50s and 100 dollar bills. They really need to upgrade that.

5 Stars – The salesman Jay was awesome. Patient, honest and very understanding. I told him what i wanted and the price range i was in and he made it happen with no issues !

Leasing my 2019 Grand Cherokee was easy and I was happy at the time, but I chose Merrick for its proximity for service but I should have gone someplace else. They offer Express Lane oil changes on paper only, every time I go, they tell me I need an appointment. They offer loaner car service but they don’t seem to have enough vehicles to loan out. I would get my next lease here, but I would not count on their service offerings.

The process of buying a car is never painless. But Alfredo Deida made it as quick and easy as possible. He put everything else aside to really help us with this process throughout the entire day. I had the best experience at Island Power Sports. Danny was literally the best sales rep you could ask for. He was patient, kind, informative, helpful and most importantly… not pushy!

I felt like I was able to take my time to really decide which bike was best for me and I’m glad he helped me to make the right choice. I wasn’t able to take it home that day because I didn’t have the trailer but he knew I was eager to get on it and ride. Knowing that I am a new-ish rider, he helped me take it to the back roads and made sure I was comfortable before taking my new bike for a spin.

10/10 would recommend Island Powersports.

After waiting forever for my bike with another dealership I started to call around to see the a availability. I got Monty on the phone & he instantly took my name & number down even though someone had the bike on hold. About an hour later he called me back letting me know the bike was available & It could be mine. In a matter of 30 minutes we sent everything back & forth via email to get my approval done & the next day I was able to take the bike home. Great guys over there who are straight up & just want to see you enjoy your new bike. Highly recommended
